A contributing factor may be that 68% acknowledged concerns about AI content potentially drawing from original publisher sources without securing necessary permissions.

- Around 70% of marketers leveraging image-based generative AI for advertisement creation are utilizing creatives generated outside their primary ad platforms. This trend is notably high among agencies, while marketers are almost evenly divided on using in-platform versus external tools.
- Advertisers predominantly evaluate the ROI of AI by comparing performance, awareness, or engagement against non-AI benchmarks.
